Tour Ref WPB01

Welcome to an unforgettable journey through Bangkok’s iconic sights! Our first stop is the Grand Palace, a stunning architectural masterpiece. Here, you’ll see the sacred Emerald Buddha, meticulously carved from a single block of jade. The grounds feature a variety of beautifully designed buildings and intricately crafted statues, making it a true paradise for photography.

Next, we’ll visit Wat Pho, home to the magnificent Reclining Buddha. This impressive statue measures 46 meters long and 15 meters high, surrounded by over 1,000 Buddha images throughout the complex.

We’ll then embark on a private long-tail boat tour through the canals for about an hour and a half. Enjoy the thrill of gliding through the waterways, where you can feed the fish and, if we’re lucky, spot monitor lizards basking in the sun. This is a fantastic way to experience daily life along the riverside, including a view of the Royal Barges.

Our final stop is Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn, a true symbol of Bangkok. Standing at 86 meters tall and built in the stunning Khmer style, it’s a sight not to be missed!

At the end of our tour, we’ll return you to your hotel or drop you off anywhere within Bangkok city limits. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Lunch can be arranged for those interested. We recognise that individual preferences vary, so guests may opt to make  their own meal arrangements.

There are additional opportunities to explore other fascinating places in Bangkok as part of your tour. Here are a few suggestions for you to consider:

  • Wat Traimit: Home to the famous 5-ton Golden Buddha statue located in Chinatown.
  • Chinatown Tour: Exploring its bustling streets and markets will expose you to a dynamic blend of Thai and Chinese cultures, with an array of street food, traditional shops, and lively atmosphere.
  •  Barges National Museum: We can visit this during our canal tour for a closer look at these ornate vessels. These intricately decorated boats represent a unique aspect of Thai royal traditions and maritime craftsmanship.

  • Wat Saket (Golden Mountain): Enjoy stunning views of the city from the top, along with a serene experience in this historic part of Bangkok.
  • Baan Bat: Nearby Wat Saket, you can see artisans handcrafting metal alms bowls, which are traditionally purchased by locals to donate to monks. You’ll have the chance to buy these directly from the artisans at fair prices and witness (and hear) the bowls being made.
  • Ban Bu Community: Visit a factory where beautiful polished bronze ware Khan Long Hin is produced. Please note that I will need a couple of days’ notice to arrange this visit.
